OBEDIENCE

Rottweilers are a working breed and are happiest when given a job to do. Training and competing in AKC obedience is one of the things we love doing with our dogs.

Unlike the AKC conformation ring which is used as a means to evaluate breeding stock, neutered and spayed purebred dogs and bitches can compete in obedience, rally, herding, carting and agility. This makes for wonderful activities that companion dogs and their owners can participate in.

A relatively new AKC event is rally which we also take part in. Unlike conventional obedience, in the rally rings you can talk to and encourage your dogs through the course, which makes it more appealing to some people.

Here are pictures of some of our special obedience memories.
